How to remove odor of shoes?

When I go to chamaripa taller shoes shop, I can always hear complaint from consumers that the new shoes disseminate odor. In fact, it is very common that new shoes will emit odor. Then I will share some tips to remove odor of shoes.

1. Sport shoes/ Sneakers:

To remove odor of sneakers, you can evenly sprinkle liquor in the sponge bottom until the liquor is completely absorbed by sponge bottom. Then let them dry. Or crush down mothballs into powder. Then put the mothballs powder evenly under the insoles into the shoes. Remember don’t let your feet touch mothballs directly.

2. Casual/Travel shoes:

Sprinkle a little salt or baking soda into the casual shoes, so peculiar smell of the shoes can be eliminated.

3. Leather shoes:

Generally, the new leather shoes has the odor combined the smell of adhesive and leather. The smell of adhesive can fade away automatically. However, the smell of leather will remain forever. To remove the smell of leather, you can put some active carbon in the shoes. Make sure the active carbon is packed well with air permeable paper. It is very difficult to clean active carbon from shoes. Shaddock peel can also remove the smell of leather.
